Magnus Skjöld
Dr. Magnus Skjöld is an experienced guide and the managing director of Mjaldur Arctic. He is an associate professor of politics at Bifröst University, has served in the Icelandic Parliament and in Afghanistan as a Political Advisor to the NATO Senior Civilian Representative (2018).
He has published a book, City State; Reykjavík in Context (2024) on the Reykjavík area. He is a certified yoga instructor, the father of four children, a grandfather of two and lives in Reykjavík.
Heiða Björk
Heiða Björk Egilsdóttir is an experienced physical trainer, a certified yoga teacher and an elementary school teacher. She has been a managing director and the owner of a department store in Reykjavík, a journalist and currently works as a flight attendant for Icelandair. She is a co-founder of Mjaldur Arctic, the mother of two and lives in Reykjavík.
